The Aim, the Signaficance, and the Expected Outcomes of the Project:
    The performance of downhole heat exchangers (DHE) are quite low. The aim of this project is to research how it can be increased.

    Because of the low efficiency of DHE, downhole pumps took the place of downhole heat exchangers. However, downhole pump systems which use the geothermal water directly may damage the environment. In addition, cost of the pump systems are too high. For this reason , DHE need to be improved as the goal of this project.

    If the efficiency can be increased clearly, the utilization of DHE will become widespread.
