The Aim, the Signaficance, and the Expected Outcomes of the Project:
   
The fuels that are used in industry and space heating have adverse effects on environment due to their harmful emissions. For this reason alternative energy resources gained importance. (Solar energy is one of them). However, since these resources cannot be used efficiently their utilization are not wide. In this project, the efficiency of air type solar collectors is going to be increased by using aluminium foam material.

    Air type solar collectors are used in many sectors in industry and space heating to obtain hot air. However, their significant disadvantage is that they have low efficiencies. The aim of the project is to eliminate this disadvantage and to make the utilization of air type solar collectors become widespread. If the usage of aluminium foam material gives good results , an improvement on air type solar collector with a new method will be realised.
