ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Industrial Design at Izmir Institute of Technology invites applications for full-time faculty position beginning fall semester 2007-08. Applications are invited from candidates with primary fields in industrial design.
Description: Applicants should be able to teach design studio-as well as courses pertinent to the applicant’s specialty. We would prefer applicants who can work within interdisciplinary contexts; we are also open to considering candidates with various fields. In addition to the teaching duties, the successful candidates are expected to conduct graduate thesis, as well as funded research in their expertise.
Qualifications: A PhD degree in industrial design or in other relevant areas is required. Experience in teaching content-based English writing skills would be highly desirable. Completion of military service for male candidates will be an advantage for eligibility.
