Undergraduate Credit Structure: (3-0)3 Description : Properties of a pure substance, equations of state for fluids and solids, work and heat, first law of thermodynamics for closed and open systems, second law of thermodynamics, entropy, exergy. Course Objectives : This course provides students basic theory and practice in the discipline. After completing the course, students are expected to be able to apply learned knowledge and skills of this course in order to understand, analyse different thermal components, processes and systems.
