Description :

Casting Techniques. Metal Forming Processes. Joining Techniques. Welding Processes. Ceramic Processing. Powder Processing. Chip Removal Processes. Automation in Production (NC, Robotics, CAD/CAM). 

Course Objectives :

The main objective of this course is to give the students the basics of manufacturing processes and provide the background necessary for advanced course on Manufacturing Engineering.

Prerequisites :

ME 231 Material Science and Engineering is recommended.
