What is the impact of quality and the meaning of quality. Product, technology and the internationalization of quality. Quality engineering. Process-Control Engineering. Fundamentals of statics ac quality control tools. Control charts. Reliability.

Course Objectives :

This course is offered to all engineering students and aims to introduce quality assurance and quality control and to emphase on design control, material control and product control.

A.V. Feigenbaum, Total quality Control, McGraw-Hill, Third Edition, 1991.

Homeworks, Quizzes, Projects:

Each student or small groups of students are assigned a project which would require the applications of  quality engineering.

Term-paper report and presentation will be basis for grading.
