Description :

Thermodynamic relations. Mixtures and solutions. Gas Mixtures. Chemical reactions. Introduction to phase and chemical equilibrium. Quantum Mechanics. Molecular Distributions and Models. Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics. Applications of Statistical Thermodynamics.

Course Objectives :

The aim is to give advanced topics on thermodynamics to the graduate students. The students are require to have a basic knowledge on natural laws and their applications such as conservation of energy, conservation of mass and second law of thermodynamics.
