General Information
The Department of Physics offers programs leading to BS and MS degrees in Physics. The principal goal of the undergraduate program in our department is to provide students with strong background in fundamental areas of theoretical an applied physics and to prepare them for careers in industry or in academic institutions for graduate studies. Physics department offers graduate degrees in a wide range of topics in theoretical and applied physics providing advanced level training while introducing, as well as contributing to, the developments taking place at the frontiers of physics including condensed matter physics, high energy physics as well as astrophysics and biophysics.
