About Aegean Tech
To achieve its targets, the Foundation realises within its financial possibilities, the following activities:
1- To own or rent fully, partly or as a shareholder, the non-transportable properties such as the required land and buildings; to ensure those properties are assigned to the fund; to build the necessary buildings; to demolish and rebuild them if necessary; to expand these buildings and organisations on the mentioned plot of land; to gear them with equipment and movable goods; to manage or have these properties managed ; to rent, pledge, mortgage or rent these properties; to sell the movable properties or real estate after obtaining legal authorisation; to overturn these to others.
2- To prepare, purchase and sell equipment such as sound and visual systems, mechanical installations, equipment, models etc. required in scientific, technological and industrial centres; to ensure these are used in accordance to the aims of the foundation; to prepare and have projects prepared for these purposes.
3- To help the organisation of scientific meetings; to work as adviser; to equip, assign or rent meeting rooms.
4- To found libraries , archives and documentation centres for easy access to information relating to science and technology; to connect them to computer networks.
5- To organise the necessary observance and correspondence networks so that scientists, technologists or those involved with these can easily obtain information.
6- To assure in every way public awareness to science, technology and health related information.
7- To organise various activities aiming to increase the interest of people of all ages and levels in science and technology; to help others who are organising these activities; to arrange competitions; to attribute prizes and titles; to undergo scientific and technical researches, to have scientific and technical researches performed and help those performing them.
8- To help scientists communicate with each other.
9- To ensure easy comprehension of science and technology; to help increase the interest and liking of science and technology.
10- To provide demonstration rooms, to hold exhibitions, conferences, panel discussions, excursions, festivals, fairs etc; to hold exhibitions organised by others in the Foundation establishment or to hold these on an open or closed space rented by the Foundation; to temporarily send the exhibition or equipment elsewhere or to rent or sell them; to direct the establishment; to help others in the same kind of organisations.
11- To ensure especially students of secondary education get closely acquainted with science and technology; to train and encourage the teachers.
12- To train staff for these organisations; to cooperate with similar organisations.
13- To provide or rent exhibition rooms, stands or rooms where the latest products can be introduced to the public.
14- To raise scientists and technical personel; to support them morally and financially at all stages; to arrange funds, scholarships, projects, researches and competitions; to provide accessories, buildings just as it provides establishments and institutions; to establish companies to support these services or to become partner to companies dealing with these services; to participate in enterprises bringing an income.
15- To found sytems such as technoparks, technology parks, technopoles, technopolis, scientific parks, scientific cities, technology development areas etc;
to help in their foundation, to manage them; to deal with all relevant transactions or have these dealt with by others.
16- To enable the development of the health services and to obtain an income to establish social establishments, diagnosis and treatment institutions with and without dormitories, lodgings, various care centres to enable the development of the health services and to obtain an income as well as funds, open and manage production, repair, care and marketing establishments; to help establish these and help in their management.
17- To cooperate with domestic and international educational, scientific, health research institutions, universities and foundations to enable education, scientific and health standards to reach the international standards; to establish and operate educational institutions at all levels.
18- To improve the services rendered at the aiready established education and health institutions by supporting and financially rewarding them.
19- To morally and financially support all enterprises concerning education, technology, credit, donation, project, material, construction equipment, publicity, marketing and in all financial, legal, scientific fields aiming to develop the services and to increase the revenue.
20- To introduce, make known and ensure the works of the Foundation or the health and educational institutions reach a wide mass of people.
21- To employ foreign citizens or to benefit from their works after obtaining the necessary permissions from the executive authorities and by not forming not necassarily the absolute majority for the services carried out by the Foundation and its management.
22- To reach the Foundation's aims:

a) To support other institutions, people, establishments, associations, foundations, companies and universities and to become their members.
b) To found new establishments, associations, foundations and companies by cooperating with other establishments, institutions, associations, foundations and companies.
c) To purchase or rent real estate.
d) To carry out commercial enterprises and revolving fund activities.
e) To accept donations and to donate.
f) To perform the necessary activities to fulfil the provisions of the conditional donations.
