Servet Yilmazer was born in 1948 in Nazilli. He is graduated from Karadeniz Technical University GeoSciences Faculty Geology Department in 1973. He has been working as geothermal energy researcher in MTA General Directorate from 1974 until retiring in 1998. He has finished his master degree in 1984 and his PhD in 1989. Yilmazer has many reports and essays in Western Anatolia geothermal energy fields. He is married and has a child.
