KOSGEB - Small and Medium Industry Development Organisation is an
autonomus organisation that has been established on 12 April 1990
with the aim of supporting development of SMI through the provision
of consultancy, training, information and marketing services;
setting up of incubators, especially with a high technology focus
and common utility workshops.
KOSGEB is one of the main actors of an improved entrepreneurial
environment in Turkey. In order to fullfil its role, more recent
activities of KOSGEB include its participation in a Credit Guarantee
Fund and joint efforts with EGIAD for the setting up risk capital
companies.
