After many years of private research and 30 years of waiting for wind energy to come; Ergun Ozakat finally saw the project. Demirer brothers, Interwind and Ozakat have now put the forces together. The 1,500 MW wind power capacity of the Cesme Peninsula is currently under study for micro site and manufacturer decisions. The gradual accomplishment of this grand work is expected to last a period of around 10 years. This will involve the foreign companies as well as the indegenous people and the municipalities of the region.
